Subject	Fun factor: 5 speed vs automatic ?

Message	If I could own two 90-96 TTs, my second one would be an automatic trans. I like my 5 speed, but sometimes, in traffic, I'd just like to be able to punch the accelerator, point the car where I want it to go, and hold on. I haven't driven a modified TT (stage 3 or higher) with a automatic tranny....am I missing anything ? Does a line controller improve shifting performance enough to make it more fun to drive than a 5 speed ?
